The beautiful city of Buena Vista is nestled in between the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains and the Maury River in southwestern Virginia. Born from the vision of one man, the city has become an industrious town and center of business with diversity weathering all challenges. The James River runs close by and there are countless areas full of life and history in Rockbridge County. Whether coming in town for business or vacationing with the family, Buena Vista has everything needed to make the experience delightful and fulfilling.

Our unspoiled setting is as spectacular as ever. We are a City that works, with businesses large and small. We are a City that values education, from our youngest children to the young adults at our colleges. We are a City committed to a bright future in a spectacular location.
