The Vista Links Golf Course, an 18-hole par 72 championship public golf course designed by Rick Jacobson is located at Glen Maury Park. The course is owned by the City of Buena Vista who is also responsible for the development of this championship course.

The Vista Links Golf Course is located with Glen Maury Park as a part of the city’s 600-acre master planned park system. The location is easily accessible, located on Route 60, just off of Interstate 81. Glen Maury Park is located just west of downtown Buena Vista. The course officially opened in August 2004.

The Course plays as a par 72 with five sets of tees ranging from 4,941 yards on forward tees to 6,925 yards from championship tees. The course traditional set up contains 4 par fives, 10 par fours, 4 par threes, and five sets of tees for enjoyment by all levels of golfers.

Grasses:

The Vista Link greens, fairways, and tees feature bent grass with bluegrass roughs.

Key Features:

In addition to a championship course, Vista Links includes an outstanding practice facility with a driving range, putting green, and a chipping area. The course offers everything the experienced golfer could want.

Programs:

Instruction, etiquette, and rules programs are offered to all with special emphasis on junior golfers. Clinics, leagues, tournaments, outings, and mixers are also offered.

Management:

Because Vista Links is owned by the city of Buena Vista, management for the links is handled by the Buena Vista City Council, the City Manager, and a Citizens Golf Advisory Committee.
